Giovanna Komst

Deputy Director

Giovanna Komst serves as the Deputy Director for the Center for Baby and Adult Hygiene Products (BAHP).

Giovanna graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs & Global Studies, with a focus on Global Health, from Gettysburg College. She held leadership roles as the President of Sigma Iota Rho and as the Vice President of the Gettysburg College Class of 2024. At Gettysburg College, Giovanna played softball, serving as captain of the team, and competed in indoor track and field.

During her time at Gettysburg, Giovanna also studied in Amman, Jordan, working for the Jordan Health Aid Society where she analyzed a refugee maternal health clinic in Za’atari on the border of Syria. She speaks an intermediate level of Arabic.

Previously, Giovanna worked on the 2020 presidential campaign and was selected as the United States delegate representing New Hampshire at the Democratic National Convention.

Giovanna currently attends the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Medicine where she is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Public Health.
