BAHP Committees and Task Forces: Driving Industry Collaboration and Innovation
The Center for Baby and Adult Hygiene Products is the only U.S.-based organization dedicated to advancing the personal absorbent hygiene products industry in North America
The Center for Baby & Adult Hygiene Products has a number of active committees and task forces. They are central to the work of BAHP and are comprised of member company representatives who collaborate on key industry issues and initiatives as set out in the association’s strategic plan.
Committee members provide a wide range of industry expertise and viewpoints, working together to provide policy solutions and promote consumer awareness. Committee participation also provides networking opportunities, best practice sharing and strengthens professional relationships and is limited to active BAHP members.
Technical and Regulatory Committee
The Tech/Reg Committee is to enable BAHPs strategic objectives and effective issue management through leadership in technical and regulatory matters. The T/RC works closely with and supports the Public Policy Committee (PPC) and Communications Committee. Thereby, industry will be enabled to market products and avoid the introduction of technical barriers to the market.
Communications Committee
BAHP’s Communications Committee provides guidance on BAHP’s advocacy for the personal absorbent hygiene products industry in North America, in support of BAHP’s mission to promote and support the safety, sustainability and integrity of our products
Public Policy Working Group
Our Public Policy Working Group is responsible for monitoring, tracking and discussing federal and state bills relevant to the absorbent hygiene products industry. As a committee, they identify key priorities and determine strategies for stakeholder engagement to advance policy objectives. The committee also keeps members up to date on regulatory developments that may affect their businesses.
